Meal Prep Redcar | Macro Based Diet

Macro Based Diet local delivery outside our Middlesbrough kitchen at night.

Fresh Meal Prep Delivered to Redcar and the Coast

From our kitchen on the edge of Middlesbrough, Redcar is a quarter of an hour along the Trunk Road. That makes meal prep in Redcar one of our shortest delivery runs, and it means the meals go from our fridge to yours faster than almost anywhere else we deliver. We cover Redcar itself, Coatham, Dormanstown, Marske-by-the-Sea, New Marske, Saltburn and the villages towards Loftus.

Our meals are calorie-controlled and macro-counted, cooked fresh every week by a family-run team, and brought to your door by our own local delivery. You choose the portion size, the number of meals and the dishes, and we do the shopping, weighing and cooking.

How delivery works in Redcar

Redcar sits inside our local delivery area, so we bring your meal prep ourselves rather than using a courier. We deliver on Sunday evenings, Mondays and Thursdays, and you pick the day when you build your order.

Order by Sunday 12 noon for delivery on Sunday evening
Order by Sunday 6pm for delivery on Monday
Order by Wednesday 6pm for delivery on Thursday

Local delivery is £7.50, and you can split one order across two delivery days for the same price, so the second half is just as fresh as the first. On the day, you get a tracking email and can follow your delivery live. If you would rather collect, our kitchen at 33 Metcalfe Road, Middlesbrough TS6 6PT is open for collection on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm and on Monday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm, and you save the delivery cost.

Meals arrive chilled, ready to heat and eat, or freeze them on the day they arrive.

What you can order

The meal builder is the starting point for most people on the coast. Pick weight loss, maintenance or weight gain portions, choose as many meals as you want, then build each meal from over 1,300 meal combinations with your choice of protein, carbohydrate and veg. Weight loss meals are £4.85 each, maintenance £5.40 and weight gain £5.95, however many meals you order.

The set calorie plans take care of a whole week, breakfasts and snacks included, and the breakfast range is popular with anyone doing early starts. Redcar is also close enough for the Protein Parmo® to arrive exactly as it left the kitchen.

Built for Redcar life

Whether you are running the seafront before work, training at a gym in town, or doing shifts at the steelworks sites and the industrial estates along the Trunk Road, the hardest part of eating well is usually the cooking, not the intention. A week of prepped meals removes that. Redcar, Marske and Saltburn are on our regular local runs three times a week, and being this close to the kitchen the meals spend very little time on the road.

Why people in Redcar choose Macro Based Diet

Macro Based Diet has been cooking in Middlesbrough since 2018. We are family run, we prepare every meal in our own kitchen, and we are rated 4.9 on Google from nearly 200 reviews. The business was founded by Mike Hind MBE, IFBB Coach and Advanced Sports Nutritional Advisor, so the meals are built around real nutrition rather than guesswork. Every online order also earns 5% back in Meal Money to spend on your next order, and if you refer a friend you both get £5.
