Who Weight Gain meals are for
Weight Gain suits people lifting to build size, rugby and football players, anyone in a physical job, and people who have been told to put weight on and want to do it with real food rather than takeaways. At roughly 470 calories a meal, four Weight Gain meals with a breakfast and snacks take most people past 2,500 calories a day, which is where a surplus starts for most men who train. The calorie calculator on our home page gives you your own number.
What a Weight Gain meal looks like
A larger portion of lean protein, carbohydrate and vegetable, cooked fresh and portioned so the calories land around 470. The protein is what builds and repairs muscle, the carbohydrate is what fuels training and recovery, and because you choose both in the builder you can lean towards the rice and potato dishes that sit easily before or after a session. Every label shows the calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat, so hitting a daily protein target is simple arithmetic.
Why people choose it over the national brands
Most national meal prep brands charge £6 to £8 a meal, some well over £10, and their largest portions are often smaller than this. Weight Gain meals are £5.95 whether you order 5 meals or 30, you choose every element, and across Teesside they travel from our Middlesbrough kitchen to your door in our own van. We are rated 4.9 from nearly 200 Google reviews.
How ordering works
Choose Weight Gain in the builder and pick how many meals you want, anywhere from 5 to 30. The price per meal is the same whatever the number of meals, so a 5-meal trial costs no more per meal than a 30-meal week. Then build each meal: pick the protein from 31 dishes (chicken, pork, beef and steak, meatballs and a vegan option), pick a carbohydrate from 12 (white rice, brown rice, garlic and herb rice, Bombay rice, sweet potato, white potato, mash, pasta, noodles and more) and add peas and carrots, green veg or salad, or leave the veg out. Every meal is cooked fresh in our Middlesbrough kitchen, portioned and labelled with its calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat.

Questions we get asked
How many Weight Gain meals should I order a week?
People building muscle usually order 14 to 20 so they have two or three a day through the working week. If you cook at weekends, 14 is the usual number. Start with 5 to try the portions if you like, the price per meal is the same at every size.
How much protein is in a Weight Gain meal?
It depends on the dish you choose, and the exact figure is printed on every label and shown in the builder before you order. Chicken breast, pork tenderloin and steak dishes carry the most.
Is Weight Gain just Maintenance with more rice?
No. The whole portion goes up to land around 470 calories, so you get more protein as well as more fuel. The dishes and the choice are the same at every size, only the portion changes.
Can I add breakfasts and snacks to the order?
Yes. Our Breakfasts and Snacks collection has high protein overnight oats, protein pancakes and waffles, steak and egg muffins and low calorie cheesecake, and they go in the same delivery.
