Meal Prep Durham, Delivered Weekly

Fresh Meal Prep Delivered to Durham

Meal prep in Durham from Macro Based Diet is cooked fresh in our Middlesbrough kitchen, about forty minutes down the A19 and the A1, and delivered chilled to your door every Wednesday. We cover Durham city and everywhere around it: Gilesgate, Framwellgate Moor, Belmont, Newton Hall, Brandon, Langley Moor, Bowburn, Coxhoe, Spennymoor and Chester-le-Street.

Every meal is calorie-controlled and macro-counted, cooked by a family-run team, and built by a nutrition coach. You choose the portion size, the number of meals and the dishes, and a week of eating well turns up in one delivery.

How delivery works in Durham

Durham is outside our local delivery area, so your meal prep comes with our chilled courier instead. Courier deliveries go out every Wednesday with DPD. Order by Sunday 6pm and your meal prep arrives on the Wednesday, wrapped and packed in a keep-cool liner with ice packs so they are fridge-cold when they land. DPD text and email you on the day.

Delivery is £7.50. If you would rather collect, our kitchen at 33 Metcalfe Road, Middlesbrough TS6 6PT is about forty minutes from Durham down the A19, open for collection on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm and on Monday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm. Collecting saves the delivery cost and gets you the meals on the day you choose.

Meals arrive chilled, ready to heat and eat, or freeze them on the day they arrive.

What you can order

The meal builder is where most Durham customers start. Choose weight loss, maintenance or weight gain portions, pick as many meals as you want, and build each one from over 1,300 meal combinations with your choice of protein, carbohydrate and vegetables. Weight loss meals are £4.85 each, maintenance £5.40 and weight gain £5.95, and the price per meal is the same however many you order.

The set calorie plans take care of the whole week including breakfasts and snacks, and the overnight oats and protein pancakes are the easy answer to a 7am lecture or an early shift.

Cooked on Teesside, not sent from a warehouse

Most meal prep that reaches Durham comes from a national brand somewhere down the country. Ours are cooked forty minutes away by a family-run kitchen, and because every order is built to your own portion size and dish choices, you are not buying a generic selection that was packed for someone else. The Wednesday courier drop lands mid-week, so the meals cover the days when cooking is least likely to happen, and ten meals cover weekday lunches and dinners without a single decision.

Why people in Durham choose Macro Based Diet

Macro Based Diet has been cooking in Middlesbrough since 2018. We are family run, we prepare every meal in our own kitchen, and we are rated 4.9 on Google from nearly 200 reviews. The business was founded by Mike Hind MBE, IFBB Coach and Advanced Sports Nutritional Advisor, so the meals are built around real nutrition rather than guesswork. Every online order also earns 5% back in Meal Money to spend on your next order, and if you refer a friend you both get £5.

Questions we get asked in Durham

Do you deliver to all of Durham?

Yes. DH1 to DH7 all receive Wednesday courier delivery, along with the surrounding villages. Anywhere in mainland UK is covered (not the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man).

Will the meals still be cold when they arrive?

Yes. Every meal is wrapped, packed in a keep-cool liner with ice packs, and sent with DPD, who text and email you on the day. Get them into the fridge as soon as they arrive.

Can I share an order with a housemate?

Yes. Portion size is chosen per order, so if you both want the same calorie target, one bigger order works. If you want different targets, place two orders and they arrive together.

What is the cut-off for Wednesday delivery?

Sunday 6pm. Orders placed after that go out the following Wednesday.
